Regatta Safety Services is a voluntary organisation that provides Safety Boat cover for various water based events. These include rowing Regattas (British Rowing, formally know as the Amateur Rowing Association, ARA) allowing them to row safe, Punting Regattas, Sailing, Dragon boat racing, to general water safety.

Our drivers are all Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Powerboat level 2 or above, up to Instructor. Our Crews are all basic First Aid trained. Some of our crews are members of Brent Lifeguard Club, Wembley Sailing Club, Welsh Harp Sailing Club ( formally known as BTYC Sailing Club and Sea Horse Sailing Club).

Our boats are maintain to the Port of London Authority (PLA) commercial standard. They carry First Aid Kits and other safety equipment on board when at an event. Sometimes we use other boats from other organizations should our boats be non operational, these boat might not be up to the P.L.A. standard, but will be upgraded  over time.

In the future we hope to provide shore based Medical Cover for events. Also should you wish, we would provide someone to act as your Water Safety Officer at your event.
